STATE OF IDAHO
SURPLUS PROPERTY NOTICE
To maximize the value received by the State of Idaho with the attendant
benefits to the citizens, it is the policy of the State of Idaho to offer
surplus state personal property for acquisition by others. These include
State of Idaho, county or local agencies as well as Board of Examiners
authorized charitable organizations, persons or entities that participate in
special programs with a State of Idaho agency. Such surplus property may be
acquired through donation, transfer or sale. The above parties interested in
acquiring any declared surplus property must contact the offering agency
listed with a particular item.
Further, at the end of an offering period, any state surplus
property not acquired by the above entities may be offered for sale by
public auction or in response to competitive bid. Such sale of surplus
property to the public will occur only after the end of the offering period
for that item and when advertised in a newspaper. Public inquiries regarding
listed items shall be directed to the offering agency after the end date of
the offering period.
